We are developing our activity suite to provide a range of opportunities for clients including cookery, drama, social events and a range of arts and crafts.
Computers and training
At Home proposes to develop a small specialist computer training facility at our head office site in Newcastle. The facility will be designed and equipped to provide access and training for those with a wide variety of disabilities.
Specialist hardware, software and furniture will be installed to enable access and use by disabled clients. The training facility will offer access to touch screen technologies, sight and voice recognition software packages and adapted audiovisual support equipment will be available to provide accessibility for different physical and mental abilities.
We are currently seeking grant funding and sponsorship to develop this project.
